Unilevel MLM Plan

In a Uni-Level MLM Plan, all members referred by a sponsor are positioned directly under their front line.

Overview of the Uni-Level MLM Plan:

In a Uni-Level MLM Plan, all members referred by a sponsor are positioned directly under their front line. Each person can refer an unlimited number of members, and all referrals are organized in a single row, meaning there is no spillover.
When a member you directly referred brings in their own referrals, this creates your second level. Commissions can be earned up to a specified depth within the structure. Notably, there are no limits on potential earnings with the Uni-Level Plan.

Structure of Unilevel MLM Plan:

Imagine a distributor X joins this Unilevel MLM business and introduced 5 new members. These members will be placed on the first level of X’s network.

Suppose distributor 1, placed under sponsor X recruits new members to the network. These downlines are directly placed under distributor 1 and it provides direct compensation for his/her efforts. However, these are also compensations earned from the downlines of sponsor X. So sponsor X earns compensations 5 to 10 levels deep in the network. These compensations vary according to levels.

For example:

  • 10% of SV at level 1

  • 5% of SV at level 2

  • 4% of SV at level 3

  • 3% of SV at level 4

  • 2% of SV at level 5.

Understanding the Uni-Level MLM Plan:

A Uni-Level MLM Plan features a single level, as suggested by its name. Unlike many other plans that involve multiple levels for member placement and impose width restrictions, a Uni-Level structure places all new members at the same level. While commissions can be earned up to a certain fixed depth, typically ranging from 5 to 10 levels, this depth is determined by the MLM company.

Key Features of the Uni-Level MLM Strategy:

The primary objective of the Uni-Level MLM strategy is to recruit as many members as possible. Each affiliate can bring in new recruits at any width, positioning them on their front line. However, each individual is only allowed to sponsor one line of distributors.
No Width Restrictions: There are no limitations on how wide the plan can grow.
No Spillover: Since spillover is not part of this plan, each participant has the opportunity to expand their downline without restrictions, leading to a broader and more robust network.

Spillover Preferences and Guidelines:

Typically, the Uni-Level plan does not incorporate spillover or forced placement. Instead, each distributor has the autonomy to personally sponsor new distributors anywhere within their downline as they choose.
In most MLM structures, spillover occurs when excess recruits from an upline are placed in the downline of existing members, enhancing their earning potential without direct effort. However, in Uni-Level Plans, distributors must depend solely on their own recruitment efforts, as each distributor maintains a direct and independent downline.

Compensation Structure:

Members of a Uni-Level MLM plan can receive compensation through various means based on their rank, recruitment efforts, and sales of MLM products. Common components of an MLM compensation plan include:

Sponsor Bonuses:

Rewards for bringing new members into the network, incentivizing effective recruitment.

Fast Start Bonuses:

One-time commissions awarded for achieving specific milestones or sales goals within a set timeframe to encourage quick sales generation.

Level Commissions:

Payments based on a percentage of the sales volume generated by subordinates up to a certain level cap, rewarding distributors for building a thriving organization.

Rank Advancement Bonuses:

Financial rewards for distributors who progress within the MLM compensation structure, recognizing their achievements in reaching new leadership positions.

Leadership Bonuses:

Additional commissions or bonuses for distributors who exhibit exceptional leadership skills and support their team members’ success. This fosters a collaborative environment within the MLM organization.

Example: The 3 x 7 Uni-Level Plan

In a 3 x 7 Uni-Level MLM Plan, each distributor can sponsor three frontline members. This structure allows for up to seven levels deep within the network. Commissions are typically earned based on the sales volume or performance of the downline across these seven levels.
